A newly established company in Vilvoorde is looking for a GL Accountant to join its growing finance team

As a GL Accountant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the company and work closely with management and external partners.
- Manage the administrative and accounting follow-up, including validating, booking and preparing invoices, while helping optimize reporting tools such as Excel.
- Support the monthly closing process in close collaboration with EY.
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT returns and other statutory filings.
- Coordinate and monitor payments, cash flow and liquidity.
- Prepare monthly performance analyses covering margins, branches, customers and staffing, and report key insights to management.
- Contribute to customer invoicing, pricing decisions and revenue development.
- Participate in audits, internal controls and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor depreciation and fixed assets and provide financial insights and advice to management.
Profiel
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional with the following background:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a related field.
- Excellent written and spoken English and French.
- Strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in financial data analysis.
- A highly analytical mindset, combined with accuracy and strong organizational skills.
- Able to work independently, while maintaining a collaborative and professional relationship with management.
